Brianne Orten
Advanced Newborn Care Specialist
Brianne Orten has worked in child care for over 20 years. She started out as a full-time nanny at a young age and has taken care of children from birth to teens. Brianne received her degree in Early Childhood in 2012.
In the beginning of 2020, Brianne enjoyed helping a family with their baby at night as a night nanny but the pandemic put a hold on that. Through the pandemic Brianne found she was now not only a nanny but also became a teacher to her four little charges, which her degree definitely helped her with and through the pandemic, she started to look at her future as her charges were getting older and she was contemplating looking for a new family or looking at a possible career change.
This was when Brianne came across the work of Newborn Care Specialists and fell in love, not only with the idea of cuddling newborns, but helping parents adjust to the beginning of their new amazing life with their bundle of joy! Once she knew this is where her life was being called, she found the incredible Newborn Care Solutions training, The First 6 weeks, Food Allergies for Caregivers, and their newborn program.
For the last 3 years Brianne has immersed herself full time in all things newborns!!! She has truly found her passion and along with hands on experience, has continued on with her education and is currently a Elite Year 2 student with Newborn Care Solutions as well as many other courses to expand her knowledge in order to best support parents with their little ones.
Outside of this amazing life of a Newborn Care Specialist, Brianne is a Colorado native and loves all the things that come with that, snowboarding in the winter and paddle boarding in the summer. As well as camping, hiking 14ers, bowling, and playing disc golf.
Brianne has been married for 9 years and has a beautiful 6-year-old Bernese Mountain dog fur-baby and the best friend a girl could ask for. ❤️
